Winter still. But, perhaps, in those brief slants of sunlight, we see the beginnings of spring!

I think so. The sun had real warmth in it this morning. Just for a moment.
It’s those brief moments that give us hope! 😉 Cheers, Ben
Yes, there’s definitely a difference in the light, even when it’s bitterly cold.
It’s interesting how the light feels so different at different times of the year. And it’s that first glimpse of the light of spring that makes my gardening fingers itch so! 😉 Cheers, Ben
What a wonderful pic. So pretty and delicate. Thanks for sharing Ben …
Thanks, Julie! That little bird will be happy to see temperatures above the freezing mark…and I will, too! Cheers, Ben
Hope springs eternal Ben!! Lovely post! As always.
Thanks so much, Amy! Cheers to you and Spring! 🙂
the birds see it too, I heard a little bit of joie de vivre in their song this morning!
The birds in our backyard looked pretty darn grumpy after a few days of sub-zero temps…a little sunshine and a thermometer approaching 30 F has ’em pretty happy! Cheers, Ben
Optimism, it is the American way.
Indeed! It sure beats the alternative! 😉
That is a very beautiful photo!!
Thanks, Johanna! Warm Winter Wishes to you!
That’s a lovely shot! I think spring is not far off now – it’s still frosty, but the sun is getting higher and stronger! 🙂
Thanks, Cathy! Yesterday the temps were in the upper 20s (F) but with the sun on my face, I could almost feel spring! 🙂
Gorgeous…
Thanks! 🙂
And in the chickadee’s song!
That’s an amazing photo! I can’t say I’m buying the idea that I see the beginnings of spring in it but it still makes me happy!
Thanks! It might be a case of self-delusion, but whatever it takes, right? 😉
I would love to be this wee bird, perched within that glazed bramble wonderland. Beautiful capture! Aye, and such resplendent light, so redolent of Spring. Best wishes,
smiling toad
Thanks! Not a bad place to be if you don’t mind frozen toes. Lucky for him there was a newly filled bird feeder near by. Cheers, Ben
